(Sorry that I didn't put this up earlier, I had been really busy with life! XP)
Due to my ride oversleeping and me forgetting my purse halfway to the con, I had to miss
s Ouran panel...(I will plan to get to their next A-kon panel line as early as possible so I can get in!)...so instead of starting off with that, I went to Alexis Tipton's panel!
I was sad that it didn't have many people in there, but at least it was still fun! She was really sweet and still got asked a lot of questions (I even asked her a couple of questions
Though, the biggest surprise was when she figured out how to give out 3 prizes halfway through the panel: Rock-Paper-Scissors! When THAT happened, I managed to compete for a Guilty Crown beach towel in the 3rd round. Me and my competitor kept ending up in ties (which I found to be pretty funny XD) but in the end, my opponent won the towel. It was still a lot of fun! :3
After her panel, I kept my promise to Todd and went to his concert (I remember him waving and telling me "Hi [insert my name here]!" when I waved at him before his concert started!) After everyone was seated, he jammed on his guitar while we enjoyed his songs.
I must say, some of his songs made me tear up a bit, especially when he sang the one dedicated to his mom! T.T It was so beautiful!!!
After those were over, we all got to listen to his lovely partner, Amanda sing a bit, then when we got to sing along with her as she broke out with "Roar" by Katy Perry! (Todd even managed to let out a roar while she sang! XD)
As for when they did the last song for the concert, things got REALLY interesting! XD
Todd got to sing as Italy (and Death the Kid a bit) while singing "Applause" with Amanda! (I imagined Italy and Kid singing Karaoke together while this happened. It was hysterical! XD)
After the concert, I met and talked to his mother a little (she was very sweet X3) before I went to get my bag where I had left it.
When I got there though....it was gone!
(I won't get into detail about it, but it took about 30 minutes of running back and forth from the food court, the skybridge, the First and 2nd floors before I found it well hidden under a table. Clever for the security guard, but I felt dumb for not thinking of looking under there sooner XP)
Now with that drama out of the way (due to Todd's line being capped already), I got to wait for Ian's autograph line while drawing some fanart for him.
I then went to the Hetalia Q&A and MAN did I ask a lot of questions! (From what I remember, here were the best moments from when I asked questions: The fangirls squealing when I asked England if he ever met Sebastian Michaelis, and asking America if Prussia had to do something with making Colorado's ground and rocks so sparkly...their reactions were priceless! XD)
Lets see...oh! I managed to get busy on a bit more fanart (this time around for Alexis Tipton, Tara Platt, and Yuri Lowenthal) before I went to Todd's panel.
After waiting in the room Todd's panel was in, Todd came in and announced that since he was scheduled TWICE, we were going to invade the general voice actor panel!
So we STAMPEDED to the general Q&A (in the meanwhile giving Todd my friends Natsu drawing that was for his birthday. He loved it!
) and I managed to finish Alexis' gift while they were talking about how they got into voice acting and talked about how to get to voice acting.
I gave Alexis her drawing and Ian a question about the Nun scene before I left to go to their autograph line early, but I had also found out that Tara and Yuri weren't in the last line I went to (Nuuuu! T.T)...
That didn't dampen my spirits though! I managed to get one last autograph from Alexis (she thanked me for the fanart :3), got some drawing advice from Kristen (thanks for the tips on drawing backgrounds!), talked a bit more with Ian (and asked what would happen if Romano met Nyo Japan XD poor Romano!) and got 3 more things signed/written by Todd (and told him about how
got an autograph from Micah Solusod) before I left!
Overall, I definitely give this years Animefest a 10! It was so much fun to go to, I loved meeting the voice actors, the lines weren't long for panels, and the food was delicious!
I can't wait to see what's in store for next years Animefest!!
